February: Cocktail Special in Support of Brown Hope
In celebration of Black trailblazers in the alcohol industry, throughout February our tasting room will be featuring a special cocktail called The Mrs. Margaret. A loving homage to Margaret Murray-Washington, the founder of the first ever Lady Beekeepers Club back in 1882. This cocktail marries Freeland Bourbon with Bourbon Lemonade Honey by our wonderful Lee at The Barreled Bee , and is complimented by fruity notes of black raspberry liqueur and lemon juice.
A portion of the proceeds of the sales of this cocktail will go to benefit Brown Hope, a Portland non-profit that is planting and nurturing seeds for racial justice and healing.
