This Cask Strength Bourbon is a tribute to "Meemaw" Freeland, the beloved namesake of Freeland Spirits, who inspired founder Jill Kuehler that women can do and be any damn thing they want. Bottled at 115 proof, this cask strength bourbon allows the spice from the high rye in our mash bill to truly shine and blends a touch of the Pacific Northwest terroir with a final rest in Oregon Pinot Noir barrels.
- ABV 57.5%
- Mashbill 70% Corn. 20% Rye. 10% Malted Barley.
- Barrel Charred American Oak. Finished for an additional 6 months in Elk Cove Pinot Noir Barrels
- Aroma Rich vanilla, caramel, and dark cocoa
- Taste Flavors of vanilla and caramel dominate, with hints of fine leather, and juicy cherry
- Finish The high proof provides a quick punch followed by a velvet smooth finish that continues to linger after each sip

Bourbon has a pleasant smooth taste. Tried this about a year ago from another on-line bourbon seller and liked it very much. I found the Freeland Spirits website and ordered a couple more bottles to compliment my bourbon collection at my home bar.
This Cask Strength bourbon came with the hand printed ABV. It was deliciously rich and complex. This is my new favorite bourbon to drink neat. Room temp brings out all the flavors as they pass over the tongue. The rich caramel finish is my favorite…only women could create this level of complexity~
