Portland's Forest Park is just five blocks from our distillery and is one of the country’s largest urban forest reserves. While Freeland's blue bottle gin features the best of Oregon’s farm fields, our Forest Gin showcases ingredients that grow right in our backyard woods, including chanterelle mushrooms, douglas fir tips, salal berries and nettles, all of which have been distilled on the rotovap to preserve their freshness. This gives our Forest Gin the same all-encompassing quality of a trip to the woods.

I'm not a gin person. Nor am I a person who buys bottles of alcohol at the airport. But one taste of this at Portland's airport changed both those for me.
I love the clean scent and taste of this gin. It's not the "drink it or clean the floors with it?" heavy juniper that many gins have, but more "I'd like to invite you to my forest" kind of essence.
It pairs well with many things, but my favorite is a simple G&T where this gin can really shine.
This gin is just…chef’s kiss. The botanicals from forest park give it just the right flavor. I lurve it.
As someone who is not a fan of an overly botanical gin, this hits the spot perfectly. I much prefer the woodsy pine taste that people who don’t like gin complain about and this fits the bill. Well balanced and very smooth with just the right amounts of flavor.

Hands down the best gin I've ever had!! I want all my local stores to carry this. And it is delicious with the elderflower tonic.
