I wasn't sure about cider barrel finishing but because it's Freeland Spirits I took a chance. Pleasantly surprised. It adds a subtle fruitiness that gives the bourbon a whole new dimension.
Very smooth and flavorful. Perfect for sipping with a cube of ice. It doesn’t need anything else — great all by itself.
I am a great fan of wheated bourbon and to have found one finished in a cider cask was amazing. I was surprised at how smooth it was. Good job!
